I would imagine that honey is really delicious, It is a big tree, I suppose one has to take into consideration the safety aspect. Hope it all goes smoothly.

You may know this, but in Native American tribal culture - I believe
it is the Salish tribe, the bear symbolizes motherhood and family strength. They put the bear at the foot of some totem poles to anchor the other symbolic families, because they are so strong and loyal. At least that's what I remember from anthropology classes and reading I've done while I lived in Seattle.

I remember living in the outback bush and someone kept bees on the property. We used to get these 5 gallon tins of Honey. Could never get rid of it and gave heaps away. Loved honey but twice a year that was a lot of honey.

That bee business is fascinating! It even brings back memories - my Mom decided once it would be fun to keep bees, and for a few years we did have a hive! I never got involved much, but we did have our very own honey, LOL. And that film footage is amazing! Like RP, I really wonder how they got the animals to act so well...

Wow! The scene had me mesmerized. Kept wondering how it was filmed. The sound effects were amazing! And do hope son and grandson do well, heat, bees, honey and all!
