Re: Re: C_C_T

My mom got evicted from a home when the insurance money ran out. She was able to stay at her own home for the rest of her days.

Re:

Well our birds just sit and look sadly until I feed them meal worms or suet pellets . Most folk have graveled their grass  or mow it to oblivion, so it is a different environment. Have you only one chipmunk now?

Re: You've been telling these "Mary had a (fill in the blank)" for a while

I think it would cause too many ramifications Pat.

Re: RPresta

I think it was a short necked giraffe RP. I suppose birds have to fatten themselves when possible to prepare for hard times. It is a bit of a relief to get the old chap into a local home, if it had been my Dad I would have thought differently maybe.

Re: Taps

Well this Mary is just a fictional girl Taps. I suppose it has biblical significance.

ChiffChaff

Homes for old folks are expensive here too, hope I croak instead of needing that.

Mary's pet caused quite the commotion there, I say. I myself have not seen a person with an unusual sort of pet.

Mary was a very common name in my mother's family which originated in Bohemia.  My Grandma Jelinek was Mary and Grandpa was Joseph.  But, I think it is the Mexican people who name everyone Jesus.

Yes, it is expensive for a home for the FIL. Sad. No bird feeder here but they are getting fatter anyway! And Mary must have had a bit of trouble getting that giraffe home!

You've been telling these "Mary had a (fill in the blank)" for a while

now, and I keep resisting the idea of plugging in a silly line that just clings to a spot in my brain and makes me snicker... "Mary had a little lamb, the doctor fainted."

well she can't have a Giraffe and that is that. We have stopped feeding the birds for the Summer. Plenty around here of natural stuff to eat. I only feed the Chipmunk.

Mary's calf would find a home at the Hollin Hall Farm Sanctuary. Maybe not the giraffe.
