Re: Re: Re: Re: Absolutely Got Me Thinking! Great One!

Thank you! I am still thinking. Yes, some Italian women are not likely to ever be accommodative. LOL!  As to Cleo, part of that demeanor may have been to obtain all of what she wanted... But as I said, I must think on it and review. Like for a test... LOL! Looking forward to reading the next post.

Re: Re: Re: Kabu

So far as I think there was no sexist undertone in your comment. Rather, it made me think and took me on a journey. And so, taking a cue from what you said, I'll today post another on Cleopatra's multi-dimensional character, at times filthy and at the very next, dignified.

Re: Hi Shamaji

Thank you so very much. I am glad you liked my writing, and yes that song is so appropriate.

Re: Re: Kabu

I was worried after I posted my comment. It sort of sounded sexist but of course i should know that my dear friend would understand and I am thinking that The bard did too.

Interesting read, very well written. Love is a huge emotion with different dimensions and interpretations. Reminds me of these lines, which I simply love... Tu mane ya na mane dildara asa te tenu rab manaya , hun hor keda rab da dawara asa te tenu rab manaya...

Re: Re: Re: Absolutely Got Me Thinking! Great One!

Well, I really, really didn't know that about Italians.Thank you for the enlightenment. But how about Cyprian females?  Me too, LOL! couldn't resist that one. And that inspires me to write more about Cleopatra in my next post! , that is, how accommodative she had been.  I'll dedicate it to you and Kabu.

Re: Re: Absolutely Got Me Thinking! Great One!

You are welcome! I might add, with a bit of humor, not all females have minds that are accommodative at all times, especially Italian females! LOL! Couldn't resist that one!

Re: Kabu

I have always believed that women are superior: placed between man and God. And you have expressed this very well. They instinctively figure out things that would be almost impossible for a man To perceive, and indeed, can take up a variety of tasks at one and the same time.

Re: Absolutely Got Me Thinking! Great One!

The female mind is accommodative in ways that a man's is not. Kabu gives this perspective very well in her comment. Great that it got you thinking. To provoke thought is my leve. Thanks a lot.

As a woman to me the words ...

Oh, my oblivion is a mere Antony
And I am all forgotten.”

they are the words of the frustrated female who wants him as much as a lap dog as a man. Real men leave their beloved when they have other important issues to occupy their mind...(Like turning your back on your Emperor and Rome). Men tend to be involved with one thought, one occupation at a time; while the female mind can nurse and love a baby, organize a house hold, even a country, and still spend most of their time and part of their brain constantly  in their lover's arms.

It sounds like a very interesting take on history.

Absolutely Got Me Thinking! Great One!

How very interesting! Indeed, I had not thought of the double way that phrase could be interpreted: "...and I am all forgotten..." I shall ruminate upon it a bit more... Thought-provoking and lovely post.
