Re: Re: Re: Kabu
Oh, dear Kabu, no way would anyone ever even think that of such a beauty! Thanks for sharing though; I know those feelings sometimes stay with us, even when unfounded. If I ever got on a roll... LOL!

Re: Re: Kabu
LOL...you know what. my Dad had dairy cows for years on the farm and sometimes he would put a particularly well born little heifer in the local show to win a ribbon. I could never join in the dance for belle-of the -Ball...I felt that sash would say prize cow.

Re: Kabu
Yes, we had VO-T here also. Don't know if it was the same formula. The Acquanet here guaranteed a 'helmet' of hair for a "do" that most likely could last for days! LOL. I'll bet you were/are the Belle of the Ball!

re your comment in my post...In Australia the hairspray was VO-5 and it was so sticky it could catch flies. Left one's hair as dry as a chip. A beehive had to be done at the hairdresser and I really only wore one for big social events like Balls where the girls would be five deep around the hall. Never ever did one sit down. One stood on the edge of the girls.talking animatedly with "friends", so one was always first up to dance. I had heaps of male cousins so I was never a wallflower and always appeared popular.LOL.

Re: Lanetay
You really are so funny! Yep, I probably would be left at the "Start" line while everyone else hit the "Finish" line. LOL!

Re: Nautikos
Thank you, Naut. I really like them also. Used to draw them as a kid. My first riding lesson was with a jumper, and when he went for the fence with me on him, the instructor had to fly over on horseback to catch him by the bridle just in time to stop him, or I would have been thrown! Still, there is just something about them that calls me...

I want to be a horse in another life RP. You drive me crazy with your equine fantasy. I don't suppose it matters if one cannot gallop.

Beautifully done - both the poem and the picture! This one really gripped me - I adore horses, and have spent enjoyable times on their backs...
