That poem is so good, I forgive you your bragging about 32" pants! But the poem is another one for the collection...

repeats are great...and I gave up buying from the Internety. it looks good in the picture but not when I get it. I think they put a lot of rubbish for sale when you can't pick it up or try it on.

Re:Ciel

A good job it was only a humming bird Ciel . The birds here usually sit at a distance and look knowingly.

My brother-in-law, years ago, wore a red shirt while bird-watching. He was a big guy in a big red shirt... and the humming bird that suddenly stabbed him in the back probably mistook him for a huge delicious flower! Hard to say which of them was more surprised.

My father gained a fair amount of weight while at Myrtle Beach South Carolina last week...The ghost of that sad kiss can haunt one for a long time.

Great poem.  Our clothing comes from all over the world.  One never knows what just might come in them.

The last line of your poem grabs tight and pinches... (good writing)

I love the little scenes between you and the others about the decisions of daily life... It's so cozy and familiar and reminds me of my sister and me when we were in school, the kinds of world-shaking disputes that happen and are forgotten in a minute.

I always wash new clothes before wearing them! On new denim, as in jeans, the label actually tells you to wash before wearing! As for your beautiful poem, it is one that leaves me speechless with its poignant and artistic beauty! Very nicely done.
