Well - there's a brain-full at 3:30 AM - before breakfast even!! Now the rest of my day I'll be looking for ways to change my protons around...try to get a little more energy from that...

Well I cannot see that we amount too much , but at least we are here for a while and probably everyone is wrong about most things and dead right about others.

Yep -it's fascinating stuff! But do you realize that most of you consists of protons? And these protons were formed in the collisions between high-energy photons during the very first seconds and minutes of the BB. So you and me and everyone else's 'parts' have been around from the very beginning! And we have never yet observed a proton decay - so maybe we'll be around for a hell of a long time yet...
