Sometimes shyness is not being afraid ,but some other emotion that is buried and manifests itself in the only way that is possible.

I remember the days of being bulled in school very well. Thankfully, for me, it stopped after seventh grade...For me, work got me out of shyness.

I am sorry for the "teasing" you experienced as a child. Those hurts stay with a person. But you have a spirit within that is that of a survivor, and from tragedy springs the birth of most comedy, if one looks deeply enough. No, I would never guess you had been shy if I were to see you doing a demo. I was shy as a child for no particular reason, and though not shy now, somewhat reserved at times.

Re: Re:

and the way you were treated was not just sad but disgusting and definitely abuse but as you say it was called teasing...so unfair.

we gave away the cat cage this year because Graysome won't stay init now. He prefers the Snow room which is clear plastic stuff so he is inside safe but can watch outside.

I am thinking that all those shy years, you internalized what you really wanted to say and what a shame you couldn't say them. They were, I expect, very funny retorts. it was also a shame that we stopped working when we married because hairdressing would have brought you out of your shyness and also it always seems to me to be a licence to print money. We girls have to have our hair and nailes etc 'done'.
