Even one bike makes it hairy on twisting roads, I don't know if one can even rely on the cyclist waving one on.

You really pinpointed the situation. In this region there are bike trails
through town, along the roadways and converted former rail spurs and streetcar lines offer more than 30 miles of safe biking trails through woodlands and communities. It's one of the best ideas the park designers ever came up with.
