Thank you PResta. For some reason our rasberries have not as yet been attacked by the fly. I used to smile when the lady in charge of fruit at the wholesalers used to make the lorry load of rasberries take off and drive a mile or two to lose the swarms of flies that were hoping to lay eggs on the fruit. I think this poem came from a few years back and I
retouched it.

Well Naut they stay red in the freezer, although fresh is King always. We all have our past regrets, or think we do.

Well the ones that I froze came under the scrutiny of Arthur the fastidious , So he wrote MANKY on each bag . Not very nice was it ? So I gave Archie the Manky ones.;

Arthur does need to find his own berries... I love raspberries. Organic raspberries. And your poem was so touching, so poignent. Really heartfelt.

My favorite fruits are pineapple, apples, bananas and purple grapes...Love shows itself in different ways.

Fresh raspberries are fine, but I do love raspberry jam, a dollop or two
with a bit of whipped cream on a scoop of ice cream makes a luscious ice cream sundae.
