My dad could never understand why he had to pay taxes on his SS. He said he paid taxes on that money when he earned it in the first place????

will be interested to read what the seminar has to say about S.S. tonight. I am sorry you ran into such a negative person. I guess she is one of those lucky people who have never needed help and complains about helping others. My dad always said that one should be glad that they pay tax. it shows that they earned a living. mind you taxes were smaller then.
