Today is a critical time period. Hopefully, enough people wake up to make sure this course of history does not occur.

Most of these comments confirm.....

...... one way or another, we are doomed!  LOL  Just as the German people were doomed at the rise of Nazi-ism,  because they just didn't get it,  or they just didn't care.  But at least they had a better excuse..... Nazis arose in the span of a decade or two.  We in the West have had centuries to see the evils of Islam,  and do something about it.  But we don't.

Perhaps at some point the world will say "enough" to terrorism. That is a beginning.

I somehow think we have without our moans and groans experienced some of the best times. If such a dismal future is forecast it will not be believable to the majority. I expect children will be born in the hope that they will live in a better future. A bit sad if everyone is wrong.

It's possible an asteroid will hit long before such a calamity as you

are concerned about. The North Koreans could ignite a nuclear holocaust, global warming could create flooded shorelines, drought and famine. A superbug could overwhelm our best scientific minds and wipe humanity from the planet within the next decade. I once had a writing teacher who told us he would not accept any papers on the theme "life is shit and then you die."  I'm beginning to think he knew his stuff.
