Great and wonderful character study. We've all met those we feel are so delusional they must have come from an alternate universe....but, then, I realized everyone has those feelings about others, so.....who looks at me with pity in their eyes, wondering who I think I'm fooling? I read once that people who seem so stuck in a warped vision of themselves are staying frozen in a moment when someone made them feel so much better about themselves than they ever had...or when someone loved them. Enjoyed.

Well she sounds like a guy I used to know in the forces always moaning at me and being sarcastic but at the same time wanting to be a kind of special friend . Perhaps not many could put up with this kind of character.
