Re: Kabu

Rough luck indeed Kabu, some we truly love become lost forever. No I prefer grapes walnuts and strawberries to cabbage,

Well like to think of the old times occasionally Pat, I think I prefer orange juice and apples to roughage though.

Re: RPresta

Yes very nice, I think the presentation is the key to that enjoyment. I don't think many maids work the polish these days. Thank you.

Re: Taps

I seem to always purchase more produce that I can use quickly.  It just looks so beautiful and so delicious but I forget that a little goes a long way and I have to end up chopping and freezing a lot of it for soups and stews.

I always have a new place to travel in my mind when I read your

poems, CCT. So new and so evermore all at once.  I've tossed out leafy greens that I'd bought with every good intention, but just wasn't up to the grazing...

I don't really like lettuce, baby spinach, kale, water cress or seed sprouts. I eat some but not if I can get out of it.

beside my Uncle used to say to my Aunt...lettuce grow old together and then broke her heart by dying in his fifties. Then she died and I had loved them both so much.

CCT

What's wrong with cress? It's good for you! But I have never read a poem about polishing the floor that I enjoyed as much as this one...
