TAPS

I've spent many weeks in Chicago, for business, but haven't been since they installed The Bean.....I have, however, seen several great photos taken by friends.  I love Chicago and almost moved there a couple of times.  Now, I'm glad I didn't because I wouldn't want to deal with the traffic and it's really a place, I think, where the city is the place to be.

Re: CCT

An old Martian.  Now that my hair is getting thin, it's difficult to keep my antennae hidden.

Re: Kabu

I assume he will remain with some form of the arts (theater, music, dance, creative stuff).  He is so good at it.  But, one should never assume with the youth.  He graduated with academic honors and is very intelligent and can do just anything.  It will be interesting to see.

I got sort of lost like I was in a modern Maze but then read up about it. Always something new.

I remember it was only yesterday when Miles went to Argentina. or so it seems. Wonder what he intends to do now?

Re: TAPS

Well, I found out.  It is the Omphalos of the Cloud Gate Sculpture, better known as The Bean.

Re: RPresta

I'm sure that she has those things, but I don't know the answer to that.

Re: Pat_B

I totally agree.  I'm looking at more pictures though taken from more of a distance, and it is a quite fascinating view of Chicago and the skies and skyline.

Re: Ciel

You are right, I found out from Annmarie who took the picture.  It is Cloud Gate but more often called The Bean.  They are taking lots of pictures of everything, including the graduation of Miles (last night) before they disperse and go back to their own cities.

Looks like what I imagine an LSD trip would do to my vision...

That is very neat looking. I went to Chicago back in 2007. I had a blast there.
