That happened to the Giants after they won in 2014. They seem to have rebounded, though. Baseball is a funny thing. Who thought the Royals would be performing at a mediocre level while the seemingly woebegone White Sox are in first.

I know what you mean! Of the Blue Jays' big guns only one is firing regularly, and our relievers - well, the sooner they're relieved of their duties and replaced by real pitchers the better...

I know the feeling. Not one Canadian Hockey team made the playoffs this year for the Stanley Cup. No one in the second round. I have sunk to a depth and Habbie Gnome our charm for the Montreal club is very sad.
