Colorful flowers for the colorful memories your mamma brought to your family.

This is a beautiful, poignant story that succinctly tells so much. It took me back to a home that is no longer there. My mama put me in a snowsuit also, and she had told me that I loved riding the El (I remember many things from then, but not riding the El). Thank you.

It seems Joe that life is easy for some and you had to suffer at times, just because it happened that way. Brill images, trains seem to remain in one's mind, The power perhaps,

What a lovely little part of your history. I guess there have always been upsets between families when one side is wealthier than the other. Doesn't matter what ethnic group but poor mama was Neapolitan descent and I know that was not going to be easy.
