You remember those days very well...I know at Loyola College, it is not looked at as a big deal if a professor does not have a Ph.D. Now it certainly limits one's tenure opportunities, but respect is still held to those without one.

Well done Pat, I wish I could have done something like that. It gives one confidence to
to compete in the market. I did wonder how you climbed that steep ladder.

I'm not surprised you did so well, Pat; your writing is of professional
caliber. Wish I could write within set structures as excellently as you do. I'm all over the place, free style indeed, lol, though trying of late to develop more discipline. Chance encounters can be fateful and you followed through even with obstacles put on the path - Kudos!

From the quality of your work I would say that getting some education of the subject made you a professional writer by what you post in Blogit.

An excellent story and I was 40 when I started my nursing degree...but I was already separated and ready to move on. I worked and studied and accepted help from the Government for seven years. Well the Gov. help lasted for 3 years.
Anyone could tell you were meant to write.

Very interesting, and yes, very well written as always! It looks like you got bitten by your own 'Write Your Own Story' bug...
