In the context of your post, I would definitely take the walk in the rain. In life, I prefer to walk between the drops! I hear music and rhythm in normal sounds; it's all in how your listen.

I grew up sleeping under a tin roof and the sound of rain helped me sleep so soundly. Don't much like being out in the rain though.

I like walking in heavy showers Bill it washes my waterproofs. Rain battering the window I love that music.
