It's a mess. It's unfair. It's complicated. It stinks. I could go on, but I'll zip it! So sad for you and everyone else this affects.

That has turned into a dilemma for many people, like when people have to choose between food and medicines these days.

I read it all. I'm not sure I made sense of it though. I'm doing good if I can balance my check book and keep my credit card managed.

Re: Re:
It is a dilemma... now perhaps work what you want but just put that money away each week.

Re:
To be honest I dont understand it either. I have medical insurance that I pay $11 and because I was low income I didnt pay the usual $121 that everyone that has ss pays. Could be higher if you make a lot more money. My income from my job takes me in a different bracket so I dont qualify. Its the same as welfare and medicare but its called medicaid. My daughter and hubby qualify for free insurance because of their income doesnt meet the higher bracket. So what I need is my hours cut I think to qualify

So ...and I am bit confused here because figures are difficult for me but it seems that there is no free medical. The lowest that you pay is $121. a month. How can you pay that out of a pension and of course if you earn a penny over what they decide is fair?? you start to lose benefits. It works that way in Australia too,or did.
So now you have to decide whether it is worth your while to be working because it seens that the country wants to keep you weighed down. it stinks.
