Oh, they are way right, Bill! As for animals, no embarrassing situations, but once long ago a beautiful Black Lab stood dead still in front of my car at an intersection in heavy rainstorm, soaked and lost, near a freeway. She just looked at me with eyes so sad and forlorn that if dogs could be suicidal, this poor girl would have been that. I invited her into the car, she readily accepted, and I ended up keeping her. She had beautiful puppies three days later. She was a grateful, sweet and loving pet. Odd thing, her teeth had been filed down.

Bill, my son is going on a long organized bike ride soon and I am rather alarmed because it is on busy roads.
