In fact, I always enjoy your personal reminiscences, the bits of current life, and your ambling thoughts. I look forward to such visits and would miss them if you took yourself off in December. Your poetry is sweet, winsome and wistful, wry and funny, and the really demure ladies, if any remain demure after a certain age, wouldn't probably get the ones you're speaking of.

Cosmos are lovely, the simple singles and the doubles.  I favor the reds and oranges, and always the lavender ones remind me of the fields of them that open that movie THE COLOR PURPLE.

I have come to suspect that your brother isn't right about everything.

Re: ChiffChaff

We did once Wiley and then the price hit the sky so we had to turn to gas.

Re: Rpresta

Thank you RPresta Archie my part time gardener says do not plant them, they do not sell. I'll show the double pink when it blooms, I like to grow new varieties just for fun.

Poetry has a mind of its own, I don't usually think about it much, but thank you for the encouragement.

Re:

Yes sweet words, well I would always write to you if I left this mortal world, or rearrange the gnomes overnight.

Re: Naut

Well that Cosmos looked a bit bleak this morning Naut. I shivered as I washed the frost off vulnerable plants. I expect I can clean up the the disgusting ones.

Lo Pat Well I thought a new double one looked rather special I'll show  photo later goodness we had a hard frost last night ice on the water. I couldn't be bothered to cover the sweet peas but they are fairly tough.

Cosmos are popular here. I like them well enough. I do like your poetry also. It has a clever twist to it that makes it enjoyable to read.

I really like cosmos. They're "organized" and neat and pretty and they

come in very nice Crayola box colors.

I grow Cosmos. Fills in nicely. Adds color.

What are you talking about people getting tired of you? Give yourself a hug....that's right...that was from us. You are very important to Blogit. And one of the best poets I ever knew. Now behave and go make comments to all the people who love you.

CCT

Killing all those tulips - you cruel man, you...But I could forgive you if you showed us your latest poems - near demure ladies' knuckles or not...And the only Cosmos I know of is the one we're a part of and can see a tiny bit more of when we look up into the sky on a clear, starry night...
