A very powerful letter, I find this to be, one that I would love to see make its way to the masses.

Sadly so many things seem to go against nature. I do notice a small rebellion is materializing in the papers here against certain practices. This would not have happened a few years ago. Once one would have been given a warning if one complained about loud music and the neighbours were of a different race,

I never realized how good I had it, in comparison, when I was young.  Actually, there is no comparison at all, and I have learned a lot from reading you for years now.

A very brave woman is she who wrote the letter, regardless of whether or not it was ever sent. I really like the last sentence of your post.

It's my fond hope and belief that women in that culture will eventually

- maybe in 50 years or so - find a way to show those men who are so fearful of woman's self-determination to realize they'll be much happier in a world where all are valued. When women are cherished and listened to, men are more secure and happy. Odd, but true. Which is why certain American ultra-conservatives - whose attitude toward women is one of unreasonable domination and control - strikes a chill in my heart.

I have studied Hitroy and probably sociology along with the history since I was a girl. Travelled the World and mixed with "The People" so I really agree with your explanation of the two. History at school was so  much about Leaders and Kings and wars but then I started to study how all that affected people and who those poeple were. and on.

Now I am greedy to read every new discovery that pushes back further into Human activity and the mating between the different human groups. What is apparent is that we have always dominated, exterminated, we are not a peace loving creature.
