Yes I know the feeling Tops, Tips , I mean Taps, I can't remember names very well old usit isn't very explanatory; just try to keep on writing even if it is just a little tickle of your usual work. I expect we shall all end up talking in riddles.

TAPS

I find it's often a matter of bad timing! I usually come up with the clever response - the problem is the moment has passed and the other has already left...

TAPS

I could feel where you are coming from, I'll be 80 tomorrow.

I have devised ways to sneak up on memories that try to evade consciousness. Such as, trying to remember a name, running through the alphabet, trying to link to a familiar starting sound...  Or bringing up memories bundled with the slippery one...

But yes, it is exasperating!

I put it down to not talking to enough people in a week. Wiley and aI are so comfy together we don't talk all the time and there is no one else. I lose words. Names and descriptive words. I can write them but I forget them when it comes to speak.

I have had a few words at the tip of my tongue a time or two...Tomorrow brings with it a lot of hope.

Irritating as he!! to know the word, know you know it, but it just

wiggles around the boxes stored in the attic of your mind and hides until it's darn good and ready to pop up.  Spent three days arguing with myself about the word "philanthropist" last week.

I hear you, TAPS. The work I do used to be so easy, and I could put in many hours, and my reputation for this was in the minds of my employer and co-workers when I was hired, I am sure. Now I find it's such a struggle, taking me much longer to solve a problem, and even eight hours a day is exhausting. Not a complaint, just a fact, and those of us in the same boat hate it equally.
