As an example, if my weight had gone up 800% since 2010, I would now weigh almost 16,000 lbs.

Maybe it had to get to this point so that other Muslims would finally speak out against the actions of the fanatics. They have no choice now if they want a peaceful existence.

The year 2010 really jumps out at me because Obama was one year into his presidency then. The word correlation comes to mind...

I think that no matter which side of the aisle that one favors in the U.S., or upon which side of the Pond one lives, no one can argue that terrorism has increased at alarming rates.
