Are you going to experiment with yours in your cooking? They say to purchase dried or fresh juniper berries in a specialty or gourmet shop as not all kinds of juniper are as edible as others. We have a place at our City Market that sells them but I have never purchased them..

Will check out the site later. But down San Diego way, I have had something called Indian Fry Bread that was absolutely delicious, as awful as it sounds! It's not "bread" at all, not greasy, and full of flavor!

Well I bought some berries came from California I chewed them occasionally, but they never ripened so after tree weeks I threw them out, I hope they do not grow,

Oh I love the story telling part of this
I have often thought of putting together a family cookbook, with the stories that give certain recipes an added dose of love.
