Well I told my brother to make a bog garden, but yours sounds more exciting. I think I would put a small fence around it,if cats are roaming, glad you liked the poem Pat it was a newbie.

I'm shopping now for a landscaper to drain my little backyard pond
and fill it in, then use the boulders that have bordered it to frame a raised herb garden,
which will be much easier to maintain and won't be an auditorium for a froggie chorus. They've already started their theatrical chorus this year... What a lovely poem! ☺

Well once we were quite frog-less but as houses were built all around and ponds in the garden were a feature. This became an ideal setting for spawning frogs . We are being encouraged to use natural methods for pest control. They are suppose to eat slugs. .
