My typical reaction to commercials - the mute button and a book. Of coures the result is often that I miss stuff I did intend to watch...

I am fd up with reverse morgage for the elderly and selling your life insurance and buying life insurance to leave your grandkids something. All acted by oldies and one knows that they are not advertising for my benefit but for themselves. Whatever I might get out initially, I will lose in the end.

This is why I don't bother to have television, and just watch what I want to on Netflix and Amazon Prime. Or dvd stuff. A lot of what is wrong in our society is exemplified in the worst commercials.
