When one hasn't been really sick for a while, one can be quite a baby about it all... Glad to say, this is passing, I can breathe again, and know how to keep the cough from escalating to bronchitis.

I haven't had a lace tablecloth since about 1988 when I first moved to an apartment. Now you are making me miss having one again.

What a picture I've formed of that little town...
My aunt used to do some tatting, and her lace was very pretty. In those days women wore coverings over their head to go to church, and she put tatted lace on her daughter's confirmation dress.

Sounds a nice little town to retire to, trouble is it takes years for folk to accept newcomers these days. You have an eye for bargains, I expect you could use one of those sprays that remove any stain, but as you say it is a part of history.

stay in doors and rest up. It was a big trip even though a really great one. That berry tea will help and would love a picture of the pot...and the lace.
