I have one that is ten years old so I just recycle. Ours are yellow and once we could not get rid of them only as rubbish.

Don't use them anymore. The money and paper they use to print them could be used to keep costs down for consumers, so naturally, that's why they are still around. LOL. The other thing that get to me, is how it takes 8 pages of paper for a phone company to tell me how much the bill is!

I can't find anything in the phone book we get here and use the Internet to find what I need. Numbers and maps and just everything.
If the phone book is useless pop it into the recycling. xx
