I still use a phone book.  I find them easier than trying to find a number on the net

I have one that is ten years old so I just recycle. Ours are yellow and once we could not get rid of them only as rubbish.

Re:

you would think since so many say the same thing they should have people ask for them instead of going to the trouble and cost to print

Any phonebook delivered to my house or Dad's businesses ends up being recycled.

Don't use them anymore. The money and paper they use to print them could be used to keep costs down for consumers, so naturally, that's why they are still around. LOL. The other thing that get to me, is how it takes 8 pages of paper for a phone company to tell me how much the bill is!

I have a pile of them I need to take to recycling.  I wish they would stop leaving them here.

Re:

I know they need to have a recycling bin for the phone book

I can't find anything in the phone book we get here and use the Internet to find what I need. Numbers and maps and just everything.

If the phone book is useless pop it into the recycling. xx
