Lanetay's comment is on point. Your son is to be commended for his dedication and love for his son. You, too! As for dental visits, I would think it highly abnormal for anyone to actually enjoy them! Best of luck with the visit(s).

well if the dentist has special people as his patients he is proabably very good and knows exactly what to do, dont worry

TAPS

I've said it before but I can't say it often enough how much I admire Son #3 and the way he cares for Phil! And I completely share Phil's view of dentistry...

I am just as naughty as Phil where the dentist is concerned...no that's wrong . Phil is a baby and I am old enough to know my behavior is really bad. it is tough isn't it. Phil needs a lap to cuddle into and loving protective arms but he physically grew and he is usually such a happy love. Your son is one of my heroes. I think I have written that before.

Well of course it is a good idea, if Phil had toothache it would probably be frightening for him. It is fairly painless these days if one has a good dentist. The trouble is we older guys remember when it was not so. When we were conscripts i had a couple of teeth filled and the dentist used a chisel he said it was less painful than his drill. I really can't remember if it was.

I am in awe of Phil's daddy (and grandma) for the day to day

work it takes to protect and care for a special guy. I know there is joy and love in the dedication, and rewards - but your post today shows it's beyond difficult, too.
