Great photo! And of course I had to check my own antipode, LOL! Diving right tghrough the center of our Globe I emerged in the Indian Ocean waay west of Australia! Good thing I can swim! But I didn't stick around very long - sharks! So I dove right back...

that tree is too beautiful to have snow...sniff sniff...
I tell people in Australia that if I lived any further away from the land down under...I would be on the way back.

Well you went to town on that word Taps. Seems strange those magnolia trees always seem to come out before frosts here, it is a shame when one waits a year to see them bloom. Naughty sailors.

Wow! A navy vet! And a scholar. Nice to have a roommate / son
who is also mindful and interesting. My next door neighbor has a tree that looks just like that one, except for the hacked off area where the power company cleared it away from the electric lines. Just a couple warm days and it's spectacular.
