If it has to be a choice, I think I would take beautiful trees over solar energy.

That is an awful trade off.  I do hope geothermal (though expensive) works out.  It saves thousands annually in heating and electric.

Too lose the trees seems to negate the positives.

To me the trees are more important to city clean air than what your possible carbon imprint reduction with solar. Plus austhetic pleasure...soalr panel vs trees, for me it is trees every time.

A pity Archie isn't around he would love to cut your trees for free. Energy is quite reasonable your way I thought. A bit different here I notice gas is £1-23 a litre.

Because it is cheaper than it has been the tax will probably increase. There has also been a big subsidy on Solar. I am always wary of it being on the roof.

dont know if they do mobile homes or not but I too have all kinds of trees around my place
