I love it.  I hope you don't mind if I send it to my sister.  It sounds exactly like where she lives.  It will make her laugh and brighten her day.

That's exactly what happened... Took the hat in question back to the scene of the "crime" and returned it to Mary, at the table, with all the actors present. Proof that would stand up on Judge Judy...  But she still thinks there's a conspiracy afoot, and that some nefarious thief stole her hat... (she zipped it inside her purse when I returned it. LOL)
