Re: I'm weary of doctor's offices..

Yes you have been jogging along nicely although I know it is tough at times. I know it seems a shame to cut them Kat but if one does not they go to seed eventually. I suppose they do give pleasure my S.I.L has a very bad ulcerated leg and her face lit up when I gave her a little bunch of these. The plants don't die they just rest and then resume .

I'm weary of doctor's offices..

Been holding my own lately so getting a break. They are germy places; I've been instructed to wear a mask if I need to go to medical facilities. The flower is very eye appealing, C C T, beauty lingers after the cut but I prefer mine alive..:)

Re: CCT

Goodness Naut I wouldn't have thought you guys were prone to minor infections in that pure cold air. Yes one has to try new flowers, the trouble is folk want these in the bud. They do not realize that those in the bud are corpses treated with chemicals.

Re: Pretty flower, but I collect ferns, mostly so I can say,

Well Ciel its what the public want. You see some even put cow parsley in bunched flowers, but they would not hack that around here.

Pretty flower, but I collect ferns, mostly so I can say,

"With fronds like these, who needs anemones?"

I like that question at the end of your poem.

to bloom.  I'll be in the doc's waiting room in a couple hours. Not my favorite place, and I've stopped picking up the oft-handled magazines.

Watch that, CCT, or you'll have a jealous hubby coming around with a shotgun! UGH - spent all afternoon yesterday in a hospital waiting room. Not at all healthy.

CCT

It's a nice flower -  I had no idea it was an anemone...And I try to avoid doctors' waiting rooms! When I have to go, which is rarely, I'm glad to say, I take along my Kindle, since their literature is usually wanting; and I don't want to talk to anyone - I don't like sickies breathing on me, LOL...
