Great story, poor kitty. She must have suffered for a bit.

I now have four cats, so I can easily picture the incident! LOL! I don't know if you've ever seen it, but using that sticky paper is a trick often recommended to train cats to stay off of kitchen counters...they say to put sheets of it in the likely place the cat is jumping up and after a few "bouts" with the sticky stuff the cat will no longer try to get on the counters. I use a water spray bottle myself.

I know years ago I tried those but I thought it was a bit cruel. Poor pussy and I bet you had a fright.

That would drive a cat nuts trying to get it off. Actually it would drive me nuts if I got it stuck on my bare foot and didn't have hands to pull it off. I'd be thumping too.

Oh a horrid experience for her and I am sure she needed much petting and comfort afterwards. They are our babies and we do love them.
