I understand the dynamics but when the same happens between me and one of my kids, I am left feeling frustrated and hurt too. This too shall pass and things will settle down...

I have seen that sort of thing happen to my dad when he has tried to help employees or family. It is not so much that he gets such a reaction. It is more that they do not do something to help him or hold up their end of the bargain in terms of work.

A child always needs Mother, no matter the age. Just be there for her when she is able to express how she feels. She is overwhelmed and not able to make rational conversation at the moment. Don't feel badly, it will get better.

It is not that she does not love you. Young people have not much sense when it comes to priorities. I expect subconsciously she would have liked to own her own house. The decision is not 100% hers. She is in a partnership. You can only sit back and watch unfortunately. You were right of course but that is no consolation, just don't worry about it, they need you .

Of course she needs you dearest and of course she loves you. We always take our frustrations out on who we love the most, especially when we are young. Her nerves must be so frayed. Hubby was so sick for way too long. Dhe is living inan impossible situation and the MIL who did nothing but pick on her has just left home.
She probably does need some space and time for her new job, for bubby and for husband and is just too worn down. I know she really loves you and will be coming around soon. Just hug her when she does.
