Nautikos

I also just had to ask a question about "Why?" It's on Naut's View  regarding the woman being interviewed. If anyone knows the answer, I would love to know what it is! Thanks!

Naut dear  re your comment in my post...why not politics...well apart from Canada and Australia it isn't my business and there are two subjects one should not yap on about in public...Politics and religion. Golden oldies, but as true now as what they ever were.

People become polarized. Become nasty between people that actually really rather like each other. Great friendships can be ruined. In some places people actually get killed for expressing their views.

For so many it is "my way.. or piss off."

It may bring out the Broom!!!!

Some people just love to argue...I am not one of them. I was brought up really right wing but am now what I call Center Right...and that is that.I don't care what others are  nor do I expect them to care what I feel...outside of my two Countries.

And as for religion... well it is rather crass to preach at other people. One's Faith should be lived rather than thrown in someone else's face. What someone feels within, is their business.

Love you. xx

i should not think it is much different now than it has ever been Naut. Just different people hating a different type. Sadly we are all far from perfect.. Conversely we seem it have a built in loss of memory when it comes to befriending our former defeated enemies, that of course is one thing we should be proud of.  Once we would have made them slaves.

A very fitting place to start, methinks. Go back too much further, and you lose your POV because it is too easy to digress. Well, not you; me, I would digress! LOL. This is gonna be a good one!

Also, regarding my radioactive tangerine, those two words were my personal favs of that poem! LOL.

No one ever has or probably ever can unite the Arab tribes. They seem to see the World very differently to most of the rest of the World.

I missed this particular bit of history or else it wasn't taught back at MHS. Interesting.
