He was 63 when he died. The Community had been his family for for 27 years.

Well I kept thinking it was the same blog and then I noticed the blog numbers so I had to read it from when you gave son1 the chicken. I suppose the Mayor was not terribly old ,when he passed on. It was a very inspiring story though, and a tribute to the citizens. Rest in peace.

I love this story. Love the people of the avenue and the church.
This needs to be a major motion picture. Or a YouTube video with ten million hits. It certainly changes the day for me in a wonderful way!
