Re: TAPS,

Nothing is predictable anymore, by the measure of previous experience. Enjoy the days for what they are, whatever they bring! Beats focusing on politics!

Re: Pat,

Some real things can only be seen in the corner of the eye...

Re: CCT,

If they all moulted in autumn, you might have to knit them all sweaters--I can see why you'd want to avoid that.

There is a lot of work, but more importantly, that work is time spent having wonderful fun!

Re: Krisles,

Maybe you can have a bale of straw on hand to mulch your bulbs if a hard freeze is coming.

I love those puppets... I used to see images like those when I walked

in the woods many years ago, but they'd go away when I took a long second look... I understand your warm wave is heading east and will be here by Tuesday....

Well I would be worried, you need a few good frosts soon. We always used to have very hard frosts in early March I remember I had consignments of chicks at that date and although they were under heaters frost was apparent under 6 inches of shavings. Very sweaty when one thinks about it,but we had to get the chicks at that time if we waited too late they would moult in the Autumn. Of course they were free range in those days.

Seems a lot of work in this puppetry business, but everything worthwhile is of course.

It is still pretty dang cold around here, and windy along with it, though our days have been sunny.

Ciel

I so enjoy those snow pics!  I'd love to see some snow....at least once, this winter!  It was 79 here today, and it's forecast to be 86 next Friday!  My iris bulbs have pushed up, so I'm really worried about what will happen when the cold does come....and it will come, I just KNOW it will!

Re: Kabuness,

There is still a stack of whitish stuff here and there--takes a long time to melt off two feet of snow, in the shade at least. Yesterday I spotted a patch of ice on the sidewalk in front, and sanded it because little old ladies walk their doggies by here, and we dont' want the little doggies falling down.

Hobble Nobble... I like it, I will pass that along.  Where does that term come from?

Ciel love

That davey doggie is a lot of fun in the Snow and i find it difficult to realize that it must all be gone now. We had more today and are in for a deep freeze weekend.

Oh and the Quetzalquatalus creature is amazing. I love Charlie's new family of Hobble Nobble beings.
