That is a truly fascinating discovery. I wonder what will be discovered next.

I think this whole thing is so amazing, and it only took us 40 million years, give or take, to be able to prove it. One thing that occurred to me - bits of the matter we're made of existed all that long time ago. Wow!

This kind of science is so interesting to me, but nowdays it is a bit more than I can take in. It makes my brain bobble or something.

Lovin' it! Just one question regarding "...detect a change in the distance between the solar system and the nearest star four light years away..." That would mean the nearest star outside this solar system, right? Such incredibly sensitive instruments. Now let's hope their theoretical template was correct! Ol' Al would be smiling...
Either way, detecting ripples in spacetime fabric leaves many theories open to possibilites of factual basis. How fun is that? Ohhh, my head! I feel them! LOL. And I also agree with Krisles; we, collectively, do need to do more here on Earth, and soon.

Oh, be still my heart! LOL! Meanwhile, back on earth....could, maybe....possibly....these guys think of doing something useful - IN TERMS OF PRIORITY - like....oh, I don't know, getting some friggin' water to the areas that keep suffering every year with draughts, costing untold damage to the economy....I can't even begin to think of the diseases and the fields related to limb replacements, robotic surgeries, artificial organs, to cleaner energies...the list could go on and on. But, hey, compared to being able to watch some black holes some day.....I am sure I am missing the BIG PICTURE!!!!

is that what that thrill is???? I thought it was something else....Oh never mind. I shall have to be careful on the broom bt then I always am...
I was watching this on the telly yesterday and said to meself....Naut will be so excited about this.
Alright I got a bit excited myself, it is fascinating and terrifying to think of two planets girgling each other at such a terrible pace until they merge and well disappear.

Well I suppose Naut we shall never feel the ripple of this clash it will take too long to reach our gentle home which I suspect will be taken by some other disaster long before.
