Re: Strat

Aw, Kris-Sis, my critters are family. I'm not only a slave to a pair of spoiled rotten corgis, I'm beholden to a four pack of Easter Eggers. Lousy farmer, I am...

Strat

Oh, I know a guy here in town who has a bunch of chickies...he has different fancy kinds, and he loves them soooo much! A miniature goat would keep your grass down and give your doggies something to herd.  I don't know if they give milk or not.... I barely stopped my mom from getting a miniature horse for her back yard.  I think we need our critters as much as they need us.

Haha, great post, Strat! Educational and amusing..

If you get a llama, just don't pucker your lips and do a pretend kiss close to his or her face, no matter how adorable that cute little face is; you'll be sorry. I was a kid then at the zoo, 'nuff said..

LOL...baby goats perhaps, but Llama's they spit!

Chickens do make great pets and they love some fresh greens as well and even a scratch in Mom's garden. They actually clean out a lot of the pests if supervised in a garden. My parents had a Corgi. You reminded me of how much a part of the family she was. When i went to visit Mum and Dad she would be overjoyed to see me. Mum would tell her in the morning, I think Aunty Helen is coming today and she would be waiting.

I suppose she was my doggie Sister actually but I was always Aunty Helen. LOL
