You must have an awful lot of patience. God bless you for what you do for people.

Re: Naut's question
About the hats: I gave 15 or 16 hats and a few scarves to the Red Cross donation pickup truck a couple weeks ago. Just counted those I've done since then - partly with the bargain yarn I paid a dollar for at the center's "boutique." There are 16 new hats, four new scarves, and a few flowers made from leftover bits...

personally I would rather have two proper coffees a day and find something else like a herbal tea for other drinks than to drink a bad coffee thingy.
As a nurse I wonder if the missing the caffeine is worse for the BP than enjoying that early sipping relaxation.

That Center really is a busy place! But I have a question (and I'll whisper): Are we gonna see more of our nice hats?

Well I guess you would miss this stampede of needs. No wonder it is a pleasure to relax and do your own thing. I did not know that caffeine raised the blood pressure that much. I don't mind decaf coffee, but tea takes a bit of a knock on effect, kind of tea-less.
