I find like you that a whispered gentle word to a kid in a shop who's having a bit of a tough time, will sunny up right quick. Makes my day too.

I love your observations of people at the library! And I suspect there are endemic undercurrents in the relationship between mom and sonny...

Oh, and speaking of observations - you are absolutely correct about the mast! I had actually figured it out amyself fter I had somewhat hastily written what I did, but left it to see if others would catch it - and you did!
