Nice
Though growing up in New Jersey USA, we were afraid of the stories of the oinfamous Jersey devil. In a Country setting those stories had scary implications.

Loved hearing about this Dedek. He's new to me. Or rather, they are new to me. We had all sorts of fairies and elves about when I was a child, but never a Dedek! Good thing; I would have been frightened. Actually, I am nearly frightened now!

Beauty is a dime a dozen these days - but fascinating ugliness is alwasy welcome! And I am really glad this Dedek tale is continuing - the bi-play with Son#1 just adds to the interest...

Well for being kind of 'stuck in the mud' with writing as I am too these days, you did a marvelous write here about things I never heard of love.

I have always found monsters to be interesting. We in Maryland do not seem to have any.

I could hear a werewolf padding across the floor boards. Your little monsters don't really look too frightening

In our house we talked of leprecauns, and of course we kids
had gorillas in the closet, or the bogey man... I'd never heard of these household spirits, and it's fascinating how different and how alike we all are.
