I remember back in January 1997 having a snowball fight with my friend Fred. There was a lot of ice mixed in with the snow, so it was not the typical snowball. It was rather painful, although we did it, anyway.

When I was very small, we had to put on something called "snowsuits" to go outside when it was snowing, if it wasn't too cold. I remember my dad once asking if I wanted to go for ice cream when there was a lot of snow outside, and thought it odd that we could do that but not go out to play! I was about 3.

We lived on a very big steep hill with a dead end at the bottom so cars didn't come down for fear of getting stuck.  All the neighborhood kids made it the fun place for sledding with a fire at the top for warmth, and one at the bottom.  At the bottom was a bump and then it was down into the woods you go.  Most of the time one went flying off of the sled and into the snow.  Of course half of the time was spent pulling your sled back up the two-block long hill to the top.

Never had any snow dear Bill. I didn't see snow until I went to Switzerland with my parents as a teenager.

Bill

We had very little snow. Once I remember I was very small and it snowed a lot. My dad stood me in it and it came over my knees and it was scary. Have a good day.

Make slides down the main road Bill. Nary a vehicle in sight.
