Angels and Demons
I jusrt purchased the paperback version of Angels and Demons; the lady in the bookstore said she enjoyed it even more than she enjoyed the Da Vinci Code.

It is a great book...

I've read (or actually listened to the unabridged book on CD) The Da Vinci Code and I loved it.  Another great one by the same author which I'm reading (listening to) now and highly recommend is Angels and Demons.

Ah, DaVinci

Code, a GREAT book.  A companion book for those who want to understand the origins of some of the information in this book is "When God was a Woman" by Merlin Stone, a woman.  I got it in a used book store.  I had long found Christianity missing something important, that somehow we became patriarchic.  Hmmm.... I also had long heard of polytheism, fertility Goddess, Earth Mother, etc.  This book I recommend provided a very plausable answer.
