I am glad that you now have another doggie. There will be another one here. It has been a while now. Thank you. You always remember your pet family members. There is joy in new ones also!

I know your pain! When I lost my Jag, a wonderful black Standard Poodle, (a doggie some of the 'older 'Blogitville citizens will remember) I was devastated. But six week later I got my Ben, a GSP and a rescue dog, who has become a great companion. Of course I will never forget Jag, and feel the agony of seeing him die, but that does not mean I cannot love my Bennie...

I just hate losing animal family members. You wrote this so well it tugged at my heart, It will tug at every animal lovers heart.

Yes I was so sad when I lost my dog that I could not have another.Lovely sad poem.
