If you collected the blogs you wrote into "chapters" on a theme,
I'm betting you'd find you had accomplished quite an interesting piece, maybe even a memoir, assembled according to ideas rather than chronology... Blogit has a way of letting us take small, chewable bites.

I love reading everything that you write.
I have started and never finished things here. I find after so many years of blogit, i don't have much to write. I just write what comes into my head.
Wiley sometimes like you thinks of leaving but then gets interested again.
perhaps it is more our way of staing iin touch than writing wonderful stories but this latest one about son #1 absolutely captured me.

Well I have always found you quite interesting amongst your little excursions into different aspects of your own and family life. I am sure you could write a book if you wanted to, but sadly so many write on sites like Amazon that the chance of anyone making a go of it is practically nil. Unless of course one became notorious or discovers that they are related to your next president.

I am in total agreement with Naut. You are a fantastic writer and I so hope you will share many more stories with us. That said, I have exactly the same bad habit...about many things.....but, I am also afflicted with way too much wordiness (if you haven't noticed!LOL!) and just don't have good brakes with words just flowing out like water through leaks in the dam, and I don't have the control it takes to craft a good story.

I just read that - and it is so very well written, that I have no hesitation saying that of course you are a writer! And if you don't like to write long pieces, think of yourself as a short story writer...
