I looked up David Winter to find out more about that... He and his partner made a fortune in a few years to their very great surprise! Apparently they stopped making the cottages--there are 142 of them--in 2002 or 3. The cottages' high point among collectors is somewhat passed for now, too. I didn't get them, though, for resale values. I just always liked them!

I am in love with your cottages.
I made a little World with one small cottage. I have it in the Kitchen glass front dresser so it doesn't get all dusty.
Always love all of your pictures.

I love these photos - the English cottages are interesting.
I enjoyed the sculptures, the Assyrian (?) art. How sweet to think of someone making a living as an artisan. I used to make miniature stuff out of Sculpey, human figures, even a 6" tall bride and groom once, which proved to be too heavy to set atop the wedding cake.
