There is always a bond between parents of a child whether one acknowledges it or not. Yes his wife is a witch. Yes he was a weakling. You are probably most turmoiled and traumatised about seeing your husband who you have lived apart from for so long. Perhaps you can collect some things that you want from the house if you go to the funeral.

Yes is all very painful for you,I agree. Sadly it has all invoked memories that you had somehow contained. Perhaps seeing your hubby again will soothe this pain somehow.
We all make mistakes, but it is like losing a loved one, we have to heal or we are lost
forever.

It sounds like life is being terribly difficult for you right now. I'm not sure I understood all of that correctly, and it really doesn't matter if I do. What matters is your peace of mind and accepting what you cannot change. Focus on the good things, like your wonderful daughter and any good memories.
